The First Annual New York's Capital Region Vegetarian Expo, held on 15 September 2007, was a big success, featuring 7 speakers and over 70 exhibitors.
Read what others had to say about our first Expo:
... The Capital Region Vegetarian Expo provided an enriching, full day of camaraderie, networking and information sharing. Kudos to the Albany Vegetarian Network for their stunning success. They hit one out of the park in their first big-league at bat.
People waited expectantly at the doors for the free festival to open in the morning, and the convention hall remained full all day....
The Expo was the first in the Capital Region to blend and encourage the health benefits of green, sustainable living, environmental awareness, and respect for nonhuman animals. This event will be quite an act to follow.
You do not have to be vegetarian to volunteer.
The process for the Expo is exciting and tasks are many. If you would like to be involved in planning, publicizing, or helping the day of the Expo, please contact us with your area of interest/expertise!
Enjoy a fun day with great people.
