Amtrak trains arrive daily at regional depots, and both national and regional bus services are available. Amtrak provides extensive service throughout Albany and is a convenient way to travel the northeast and beyond. Amtrak services the Capital Region with 15 rail stations in nine counties. The Albany-Rensselaer Amtrak Station is joined by Amtrak, The Capital District Transit Authority Bus System, and local taxis.
